A Final Word from Richard Kennedy

The last few months have been a whirlwind…and after talking to so many of the residents of Frederick County I’m more positive than ever about our future. I want to thank everyone who attended our rally at Taqueria Guadalajara last week and all those who have supported my campaign for the Board of Supervisors, representing the Shawnee District. Now comes the most important part: casting your vote! If you’ve not voted early, you can still do so at 107 N. Kent Street in Winchester. If you prefer to vote on Election Day, circle your calendar for next Tuesday, November 2…and remind your friends to join you in voting for positive change in Frederick County!

We can also use your help greeting voters and handing out sample ballots on Tuesday. There are four polling places in Shawnee – Senseny Road Elementary, Armel Elementary, Evendale Elementary, and Bowman Library – and it will be important to staff all four locations, as long as the polls are open, if possible. If you can help, please call or text our volunteer coordinator Katie Vance at 540-532-7266 and she will contact you. Even if you can only volunteer for a short period, it will help.

My thanks again, and let’s take the critical next step in building our future.
